I ♥ Me!

Okay. So you know how i told you guys that i was writing another story?!
Its coming along GREAT!!! I cant wait to finish it! Its 50 notebook pages long!!!
And im only on chapter 3!!! Lol i love writing! Soo i was thinking… I might just post the introduction since its not really going to effect much! And u guys cant change what i have in store! Soo.. Be expecting an introduction from my newest story! Maybe you guys could help me give it a title! Off to write more! Love ya!!!♥ 

I will be writing yet another story! I COULD give you a little taste of what its about…

 But i dont want to. No one but me has read it. And it will stay that way until im a little bit farther along. I have 5 pages so far. And i just started writing an hour ago! Ill tell you the main characters name though. I love this name: Keanah Williams. Its pronounced (KEY-ON-UH) Thats going to be the name of my first born girl! Anyway… Its about her life story kind of. So far, i really enjoy how the story is unfolding. Its working out exactly as i planned for. I can relate to this story (Just like all my stories)… It has a touch of my life and feelings mixed in with it. 

The trick with this story is this: This will be the first story that i actually finish. The other stories i have written have been taken into someone else’s opinion. Thats the reason i wont give any spoilers. I dont want this story to be changed from what i have in mind. This story has a lot of meaning in it. Well, it will… I cant wait to finish it. So im getting off of here and going to write more.! I may not be on for a few days because im working on the story… If you want… I could post the Introduction on here… It may not sound as interesting as the story itself… But its a nice attention grabber…

        I thought back to what had happened earlier that day. After Tani realized that i was going to Freddy’s house before our big day…She got…VERY angry! I can still remember every line and freckle in Freddy’s face as i handed him the note, told him i couldnt say anymore, and walked back to the car to Tani’s astonished look. “Wow! I thought he was actually coming with us! I truly thought you were crazy for a minute there!” I chuckled “No way Sis! I wouldnt let him stand in the way of our party day! I specifically designed today for us!” I said smiling. “Either way,” She said frowning, “I dont think that this is how you wanted your day to start. Something is telling me that Mom had something to do with this. I dont know why i feel like that but i do.” -Sigh- “When are you going to understand that life isnt always about yourself and sometimes people make decisions all by themselves WITHOUT the help of there mothers!” She chuckled a little and remained quiet for awhile. In her silence, for some reason, i kept looking in my rear-view mirror towards Freddy’s house. As if he would appear out of nowhere with all the answers that i needed.

        It wasnt until we were at the Icecream Shoppe that Tani spoke again, “You do realize that its almost December and we’re getting ice cream right?” I chuckled…”Of course you Twit! When is it not fun to eat ice cream?” “Haha! When your tongue turns blue and falls off because its negative 30 degrees outside!” We both laughed, ordered our ice cream and climbed back into the car. Once we were finished with our ice cream Tani turned to me and asked one of the last things i ever expected her to grasp. “You like him dont you? I can see it in your eyes when you talk about him. And when you see him you light up! But when you gave him that paper today…You seemed so sad and down? Why did you give him something that upset you to say? Even if it was necessary. I dont know what the note said, but i can promise you that you shouldnt have given him it.” With my mouth gaping a little i turned towards her and finally replied, “For one, How do you know so much about boys?! And two! WHO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! There are like 5 BILLION ‘Him’s’ out there! Which one are you talking about?!” “Freddy of course!” She said with a giggle. I didnt reply right away and i thought she noticed, but if she did she didnt comment. “You wouldnt understand Tani. You may know alot for your age but you’ll never understand the relationship problems until you experience them yourself.” When she caught on to how my tone changed she quickly dropped the subject and remained silent. Not wanting to ruin the day any further. “If you want Emily, we can go home and talk about it. Its a little better to sit there and talk rather than in a cramped car.” -Sigh- “But that would ruin our ‘date’ ” “But we have ‘dates all the time! Just about every time that mom tells you to go hang out with your friends actually! Why is that? Why dont you like to hang out with your friends?” Why does she ask all the questions that i would rather keep to myself!!!? I screamed at myself. “Thats another thing you’ll just have to experience for yourself dear. But maybe we can go home. Im kinda feeling a little tired all the sudden.” “You mean.. “Even though i love you, you’re getting on my nerves and i want to be alone?” ” We both laughed at just how extremely close she was to the truth. I put it in drive and headed towards home.

      Once i arrived home, i found that Freddy had wrote me back and that mom had the envelope in her hand waiting for me to get back to the house. “Mom! What is that!?” I screamed at her. “Its for you Dear! From a VERY handsome fellow.” I snatched the envelope from here and trudged up the stairs to my room, Tani close on my heels. As i got closer to my room i stopped and turned around to look at my 10 year old sister. “Im sorry but we’ll talk later. Go help mom with the kitchen and maybe we can have a Pizza Bits for lunch!” Mmmm! Was all you heard as she ran back down the stairs. I rushed inside my room and locked the door behind me. I slid onto my bed and stared at the small white envelope that held his reply.

     Dear My Truest Emily,

I know that my problems are very different than yours! For example, I dont think i could life without my father! He’s my hero! So i have no clue what you go through there. But as of you being alone while you DO go through it is unacceptable! I want to be there for you so bad that it sickens me sometimes to know that you are at home by yourself probably thinking of what life used to be like before he left on that drive and ended up in that ditch. I know that it was an accident and that its VERY rude of me to bring it up now. But i need you to know that i will always be in the shadows waiting for you to finally come to grips with this silly nonsense of writing notes back and forth! What? Are we in 2nd grade again? Please! Understand that i will always be here and that i want and need you in my life. If i know that you are safe without a doubt in my mind i may be able to let you live your life to the fullest! But i know that you’re not safe because of your mind! Emily i do love you! -Sigh- I guess thats all i really needed to say for you to understand all of my feelings and for you to realize that my feelings are rational and emotional! I would never hurt you Emily. I need you to realize that! I will always love you. Until my heart stops beating.

        I began to cry as i realized that he wasnt giving up. I stood up from my bed and threw the note in the trash. Then i quickly ran over and snatched it up and hid in my dresser so no one could find it. “I guess its time to face him head on. No backing out now! Even if i do have to walk!” I headed down the stairs and at the last step, mom was waiting with the keys. “Did you read it before you gave it to me?” I asked through a thick throat. “No Dear, I just knew that you’d change your mind with such a cute young man. Its in a mother’s nature you know.” I tried to smile as i took the keys and hugged her. “Thanks mom.” And i headed out the door towards the car and floored it towards Freddy’s house. Hoping he’d be home!

        How many times have i told you!? You shouldnt

        Why dont you understand that im not

         Im not who you think i am… I’m sorry but this just cant work! Once you understand what it is that im going through. Then maybe we’ll be able to talk. Not now though. Not since im going through so much right now. Im sorry i hurt you. I never meant to!!!

         I looked over the note again. “Why cant i get this right?” I asked myself. Knock Knock Knock. -Sigh- I swiftly jumped up and hid the note to Freddy. “Come in. It’s open!” Slowly the door opened and my mom peeked inside, “Hunny What are you doing here? Shouldnt you be outside or with your friends?! Its the summer! Its warm outside! GO SOMEWHERE!” My mother was always pushy with my fitness. “Actually mom, I was thinking about taking the car and driving to a friends house.” “NOT WITHOUT ME YOU’RE NOT!” -Sigh- “Just because thats the law doesnt mean you have to be so pushy!” Hahahaha! That made me sound so stupid! I looked up at my mom and her mouth was gaping at my comment “WHO DO YOU THINK WE ARE! DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHO YOUR FATHER WAS! HOW COULD YOU FORGET THAT OUR FAMILY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ALL THE PEOPLE IN THIS SOCIETY!” Her face turned red “Mom! You dont have to yell! Im standing right here. Calm down! It was a joke. You should know that i wouldnt disobey the law. Even if dad were still here! I know Tani Looks up to me and tries to copy exactly what i do! Maybe i should just forget my friends and do something with her today. Where is she?” Mom looked at the floor and then up at me, “Maybe you’re right. But i didnt mean for you to abandon your friends just because your sister looks up to you! I dont want you to do that!” “I’ve already done it mom. They’ll understand. Trust me. Where is Tani?” -Sigh- “If you’re sure. She’s up in her room with her friend Tiffany. But Tiff needs to go home in about 5 minutes anyways. You should go up and introduce yourself and MAYBE set an example of yourself.” With a slight chuckle i bound up the stairs to Tani’s room. When i got to the door i stopped and listened. “Thats what i heard! Maybe you should be more like your sister Tani!” Giggles. “Possibly mother. But Tani is so much more fun then i am! Why would i do that!?” More giggles. I opened the door while they were laughing and they didnt hear. “Ahem. Why is it i should be more like you?” Both girls gasped and turned wide eyed towards me. “Emmi i did-…” I ran towards the girls and they screamed and took off running around the room I swept Tani off the floor and she started giggling again “Emily! Put me down! Put me down!” She was overwhelmed in giggles and laughs as i tickled her sides. Gasping for air i set her back down on her feet and she ran towards the corner where Tiffany was waiting. I chuckled and went to stand next to her. “Hi. Im Emily. I hear your name is Tiffany. Is that correct?” I chuckled as her eyes grew wide and she looked at Tani. “Yes. Im Tiffany” She smiled real big and shook my hand. “Im sorry to be the bear of bad news but…My mom said that your mother called and she wants you home.” “Awwww!” Was all you heard from both girls. “Do you have to go? Maybe you could stay the night!” If that were to happen that would ruin my plan. “Now Tani, I dont think Mom’s up for ANOTHER girl in the house. Even if it is for just one night. Maybe i can smooth her over and get her to say yes for tomorrow!” I smiled and both girls’ faces lit up like a candle. “That would be great Emmi! Could you do that for me?” Tani was staring at me with the cutest little smile! “Anything for my little sister.” “Okay! I’ll see ya tomorrow then Tiff! I’ll call you when i get up!” “Okay Tani! Byeee! Oh! And thanks a bunch Emily! You’re great!” I smiled as she made her way down the stairs. “Hey Tani, Wanna go someplace fun?” I watched her facial expressions as she slowly came to understandings. “You made sure she couldnt stay because YOU wanted to hang out with me?!” Haha! “Yes sure! That’s it! Just get ready, go kiss mom, and get in the car! Or im leaving you!”

          As i stood up to walk down the stairs and leave Tani’s room. I felt the note in my back pocket shift it’s position and i couldnt help but to take it out and read it again. I closed Tani’s door and looked down at the words, “You just dont understand do you Freddy?” I asked no one specifically. But it was mom who answered, “You should take that to him. Whatever it is. You seem to really be down in the dumps today. Who is Freddy? I’ve never heard you mention his name before?” I jumped a little when she first spoke but besides that i should have known she’d figure out the note. It’s no one mom. Dont worry yourself, You probably wont see him anytime soon. That i can promise you!” We both sighed at the same time. “Im going out with Tani anyways. I couldnt make any detours or she might get aggravated. You know Tani!” “Tani is always up to anything you do. You should know that by now. Oh and, I got online…Looked up some stuff then called a few people. Here” She tossed something to me and i caught it and looked at my hands. A set of car keys? I asked myself. “Why would I-…” “You wont get in any trouble if you get stopped for any reason. Some of the boys at the office will take care of everything.” I smiled and ran over to mom to hug her. “I love you so much mom! Thank you!… HURRY YOU TANI IM IN THE CAR!” I sprinted down the stairs and started up the car. I only slightly noticed the note that i had shoved back into my pocket in my haste. I pulled it back out and folded it neatly and set it to my right. Out of view from Tani. Tani ran outside and jumped into the backseat. Her normal seat because of mom. “No no Tani! Up here!” She looked quizically at me and started to ask But what about mom!?Before i cut her off saying “Mom said that i could drive without her today! Jump up front! Hurry!” Tani quickly hurried to the front seat and strapped in. I briefly thought of how to say this but couldnt come up with any ideas as to trick Tani. She was becoming hard to trick! Just like me! “Tani we’re going to make a little detour from our true destination. But it will only take a few minutes. I promise” Frowning she asked “Whats the detour and where are we going?” “Well, I guess you’re just going to have to wait and see!” And i backed out of the driveway and headed off towards Freddy’s house.

I lay awake thinking of what had happened to my life. Even though i can feel as the boat rocks back and forth, im constantly reminded of why im on this journey in the first place. As i fade in unconsciousness, i dream of a dream that is now what i life for.

A few years ago, my son, Timothy (Tiny Tim) had always dreamed of once going into combat with a ton of pirates. He was always dreaming of the open sea and what it would be like to become a sea captain. His head was always filled with ocean things. He knew everything there was to know about the ocean! More than even i know! Still! But, as the months grew on, Tiny Tim started to act a little different then what he normally does. He was constantly coughing and i didnt know what to do about it! We tried all the medicine that was available for him! None of it seemed to be working though. It wasnt until we started to find bruises on his back, arms, and legs, that we started to worry. We had him at several different hospitals but none of them could tell us what was wrong! Finally we found our answer… My little Tiny Tim had leukemia! So many different things would go through my mind as Abbigale and I took him to the doctor. We were so scared for him. He had to go through kemo-therapy and every time a piece of his hair fell out, a piece of my heart would tear off. The constant puke, the constant worry! Nothing could fix what was felt inside.

As i slowly drift back to the present im totally aware of my surroundings and all the commotion going on. I slowly get up out of bed and drag myself up the stairs. The whole ‘no sleep’ thing was really taking its tole on me today. But how could you sleep knowing your doing something for someone that you love with all of your heart? Once i reach the top deck i notice that everyone is manning their battle stations! Whats going on?! I pick up my pace a little and hurry towards the captain. Whats going on Cap’n? ” Aye, bout time you get outta bed! Look about! Havent you noticed where we are?!” As he spoke i looked around and noticed for the first time that we were in the middle of Pirate Valley. The most common place known where ships go down. They named it Pirate Valley because they say that its the mighty pirates that live near-by. But no one is 100% sure. “Aye Cap’n…Pirate Valley. What is it i should do?” Hoping it was nothing that required too much physical strength i held my breath as he thought. “Nuttin you can do. They got it all under control.” I sighed with relief and hunched over a bit. “Still tired? You’ve been asleep all day! How much more sleep do you need!” Of course he would say that… “If you have already forgotten why exactly we’re on this voyage… Maybe you’d understand the pain im going through and the depression im in!” Truly i didnt mean to snap at him. But i was kind of grouchy about this entire situation.”Forgive me Joe…I was careless with my assumptions. I did forget about your pain. Go lay down in your cabin and we’ll wake you if anything exciting happens! ” I felt relief at his words but thats not what i wanted to hear! “When do you think we’ll make it?” I turned towards the captain when he didnt reply. The captain was staring at the sky deep in thought. Im guessing a few more days if the men hold out. If not maybe longer.” I let out a sad sigh and a “Thank you.” And walked back to my cabin to rest my head. Hopefully without having any flash-back nightmares.
